I have always loved making art and creating with bright, bold colors. I love moving paint around a surface and experimenting with textures and mark making. I feel a connection between the transcendent experience of painting and nature. I am often inspired by the natural world...an intense bright blue sky, a burst of spring flowers, or the complex, rippling lights and darks in a pool of water.
